I write contemporary women’s fiction and historical fiction that affirms the power of love and celebrates the places and people that make us who we are.

I live in Colorado Springs with my husband (aka The Philosopher), our daughter, and two furry, four-legged companions.  This blog follows my path to becoming a published novelist.  It is about the art of writing fiction, the joys of discovering a new book and re-reading an old favorite, the fun of cooking (and, of course, eating), and the pleasures of small, mountain towns.
